Johnson Controls introduces scalable liquid cooling solution for Asia Pacific’s high-density data centres

Interest was high in the new CDU at Data Centre World Asia .  Johnson Controls, the global provider of smart, safe, healthy, and sustainable buildings, has launched the Silent-Aire Coolant Distribution platform at Data Centre World Asia 2025 in Singapore to meet the growing demands of high-density data centres. Since 2020, large data centres have typically had to divert more than 30% of their energy consumption to cooling and other non-IT functions. Johnson Controls’ solutions can reduce non-IT energy consumption by nearly 50% even in the Asia Pacific data centre hubs with the warmest climates, the company said. The new coolant distribution units (CDUs) offer scalable cooling capacities from 500 kW to over 10 MW, with flexible configurations that suit different data centre deployments. Fujitsu migrates service operations virtualisation platform to Nutanix

Fujitsu has completed the migration of its mission-critical enterprise service operation platform from its existing virtualisation infrastructure to PRIMEFLEX for Nutanix, which comes standard with the Nutanix Cloud Platform (NCP) solution. The enterprise service operation platform is used by 3,000 companies. This migration enabled Fujitsu to achieve reductions of approximately 30% in implementation costs, and 90% in labour hours for post-migration updates to the service platform. The migration was achieved in two months. Based on the success, expertise, and knowhow gained from the migration of its enterprise service platform to NCP, Fujitsu is leveraging NCP to expand its Mission Critical Transformation Service to provide end-to-end migration support for its customers—from platform assessment to migration and operations.
