Turkcell delivers content with Qwilt and Cisco technologies

Cisco and Qwilt have partnered with Turkcell, the digital operator in Turkiye. The collaboration aims to enhance the quality and delivery capacity of digital content and applications, bringing superior streaming experiences and faster data delivery to Turkcell’s 38.2 million mobile users and 3.1 million fixed broadband customers. Turkcell’s adoption of Qwilt’s Open Edge Cloud for Content Delivery platform is powered by Open Caching and enabled with Cisco’s edge computing and networking infrastructure. Aerodyne Group and DroneDash Technologies to introduce cross-border drone delivery services

Aerodyne Group, a drone-based enterprise solutions provider headquartered in Malaysia, has inked an agreement with DroneDash Technologies, a Singapore-based air mobility company, to introduce cross-border drone delivery services between Malaysia and Singapore. Designed for critical deliveries such as urgent documents, high-value electronics, medical supplies, and perishable foods, the service features real-time tracking, advanced security protocols including 256-bit encryption, and Blockchain technology for logistical oversight. The drones used for the service can carry up to 30 kg and achieve speeds of 150 km/h within a four-hour flight span. Australia’s Pawsey Supercomputing Research Centre will add the NVIDIA CUDA Quantum platform accelerated by NVIDIA Grace Hopper Superchips to its National Supercomputing and Quantum Computing Innovation Hub, furthering its work driving breakthroughs in quantum computing. Researchers at the Perth-based centre will leverage CUDA Quantum — an open-source hybrid quantum computing platform that features powerful simulation tools, and capabilities to program hybrid CPU, GPU and overlay processor (QPU) systems — as well as, the NVIDIA cuQuantum software development kit of optimised libraries and tools for accelerating quantum computing workflows.
