E-commerce fast-tracked with Alibaba Cloud solutions

Alibaba Cloud, the data intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, has launched a campaign to support businesses to fight against the coronavirus through technology. The company will deliver a series of e-commerce solutions to businesses that are adversely impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. These tailored solutions will enable retailers to launch a B2C e-commerce platform as fast as within five days. Rethinking shadow IT in 2020

This can lead to an increase in so called “shadow IT” – technologies not provided officially by central IT functions – and the additional challenge that such tech can bring via security and operational risks.
