Siemens MindSphere on Microsoft Azure Private Cloud goes live in Singapore

Ingenico introduces payment services for China

The Ingenico Group, a global player in seamless payment, is transforming how international ecommerce companies work in emerging economies. The company has focused on enabling global payments in BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) economies, most recently with a new suite of payment methods for China that caters to the preferences of local consumers. "Everyone thinks of us as the hardware but the company has been on a huge journey to acquire companies that do payment services," said Nathan Salisbury, GM, Ingenico Epayments APAC. The e-payments arm accounts for 230 billion Euros in flow annually, and works with the biggest merchants in the world. Salisbury explained that Ingenico handles the "spaghetti of technology that consumers never see" at the back-end, where huge volumes of transactions occur per second at peak hours. All systems go at NERF Action Xperience theme park with GlobalTix solution

The world’s first NERF Action Xperience (NAX) theme park uses GlobalTix’s enterprise solution to transform and personalise customers’ journeys. NAX revolves around Nerf Blasters, which are toy guns that fire discs, foam darts, or foam balls as ammunition. NAX uses GlobalTix technology to uniquely identify customers at the beginning of their journey, then track them throughout their experience. The theme park has multiple-themed activity zones that can be experienced in different ways. From online booking, to self-help kiosks, points-of-sale and turnstiles, they are tracked right down to the rental of lockers, game-play and purchase of souvenir photos.
