UiPath: Orchestration is key to scaling agentic AI deployments

UiPath, a business orchestration and automation provider, has found that while enterprises have initial proof-of-concept for their agentic deployments, many remain stuck in that pilot phase, struggling in purgatory as it were to scale those deployments and find a path forward to meaningful return on investment (ROI). The insight is part of a new global report on the state of agentic AI deployments, coding agents, and business orchestration surveying nearly 600 C-suite and IT practitioners at large companies (US$1 B+ in revenue). According to the  Beyond Adoption: Orchestrating the Agentic Enterprise report, fewer than a third (31%) of respondents reported that AI is fully embedded in their business. A closer look at those using AI showed that 35% have adopted AI on a limited basis among select teams, while 11% are stuck in pilot mode doing limited experimentation.  When asked to identify the challenges when optimising deployments, these enterprise leaders identified a few co...

SAS: Southeast Asia leads in trustworthy AI investments

Image
Source: SAS landing page . A new SAS report* with research insights by IDC has uncovered what’s powering the organisations winning the race to profit from their AI investments: embracing trustworthy AI measures. Southeast Asia has emerged as the strongest-performing region in trustworthy AI, exceeding global benchmarks across all five dimensions of trustworthiness while rapidly increasing adoption of more autonomous AI systems. Trustworthy AI is defined as AI designed to be reliable, fair, secure, up to regulatory standards, and able to clearly show how it arrived at a decision. Users and decision-makers at all levels within an organisation must be able to hold an AI system to a predetermined chain of accountability for incorrect or missing AI output. Any AI system must also be governed and proven to be in compliance with clear rules.   The 2nd annual  Data and AI Impact Report: The New Economics of Trust has found that organisations investing in trustworthy AI measu...

Rubrik adds new MCP support

Rubrik, the security and AI operations company, has announced Rubrik MCP (Model Context Protocol) , giving an organisation’s AI agents a secure, programmable path to Rubrik’s data, identity, and application intelligence. Support for MCP expands Rubrik AI , which is now trusted by one-third of its global customers, and unites Anthropic’s frontier models with Rubrik’s domain expertise and security guardrails—to deliver a multistep reasoning agent engineered for critical incident response. "We are seeing rapid growth with AI, and the addition of Rubrik MCP transforms security operations by seamlessly connecting customer AI agents directly into Rubrik's rich telemetry and governance framework,” said Arvind Nithrakashyap, Co-Founder and CTO at Rubrik. Solace: Real-time data is foundational to enterprise AI success

Image
Solace, the real-time data platform for the enterprise, has released a new IDC InfoBrief * which has found that “agentic AI has moved from experiment to operational dependency, and it has quietly rewritten the enterprise’s requirements for how fast data must move.”  Specifically, survey respondents deemed as leaders in real-time data maturity are more than three times as likely to deliver measurable business results across the majority of their AI projects. Leaders also report roughly 23% average annual gains in areas like speed to market, risk reduction and the ability to sense and respond to change quickly.  "Every enterprise has the same AI models. The winners are the ones whose agents run on trusted, real-time data, and the numbers back it up. When data moves in real-time, AI delivers. When it doesn't, AI fails to create sustainable impact," said Paul Fitzpatrick, Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer, Solace. The findings make clear why real-time data has ...

How companies can stay ahead of AI security risk

By Abhishek Kumar Singh, Head of Security Engineering, Singapore, Check Point Software Technologies Everyone wants to move fast with artificial intelligence (AI). Yet, as organisations race to roll out new AI capabilities, a stark reality is emerging: AI doesn't just introduce new security risks, it acts as an amplifier for all the architectural flaws we’ve already been sweeping under the rug. Industry forecasts suggest that AI-related security incidents could drive up to a quarter of all enterprise breaches by 2028. For IT and security leaders, rushing into AI adoption without cleaning up foundational hygiene is an open invitation for disaster. The ground shift "The latest Annual AI Security Report 2026 published by Check Point Research documents a decisive shift over the past twelve months; AI has moved from assisting attackers to operating attacks. Where AI once helped criminals prepare, it now runs live intrusions with minimal human direction," says Abhishek Kuma...
