Agentic is the name of the game for CrowdStrike's Falcon Platform Fall Release

CrowdStrike has unveiled the Fall release of the CrowdStrike Falcon platform – the Agentic Security Platform . Built AI-native from day-one and revolutionised for the agentic era, the Falcon platform is the foundation powering the agentic security operations centres (SOCs), the company said. This release features an AI-ready data layer and expands agentic capabilities across the platform – unifying data, intelligence, agents, and governance to secure and operationalise AI securely, intelligently, and at scale. “The world is entering an arms race for AI superiority as adversaries weaponise AI to accelerate attacks,” said George Kurtz, CEO and founder of CrowdStrike. “In the AI era, security comes down to three things: the quality of your data, the speed of your response, and the precision of your enforcement.” With the Agentic Security Platform , CrowdStrike introduces what modern security requires: an AI-ready data layer, mission-ready agents, secure orchestration, and a dynamic AI...

CrowdStrike Threat AI leads threat intelligence into the agentic era

CrowdStrike has announced Threat AI , an agentic threat intelligence system built to automate complex, time-consuming intelligence workflows and accelerate outcomes. As part of CrowdStrike's new Agentic Security Workforce , Threat AI delivers mission-ready agents that reason across threat data, hunt adversaries proactively, and take decisive action across the kill chain. “Adversaries are weaponising AI to accelerate every stage of attacks – what once took months can now happen in seconds, collapsing the defender’s window of response. Intelligence must evolve beyond informing defenders to actively countering threats at the speed of AI,” said Adam Meyers, head of Counter Adversary Operations at CrowdStrike. “ Threat AI is the intelligence arm of CrowdStrike’s vision to equip every security analyst with mission-ready agents that eliminate high-friction tasks better suited for machines, ushering in a new era of threat intelligence.” CrowdStrike tracks more than 265 of the world’s m...

Falcon Next-Gen Identity Security expands protection for identities

CrowdStrike has refreshed Falcon Next-Gen Identity Security , expanding unified protection for every identity – human, non-human, and AI agent – across the full hybrid identity lifecycle. With phishing-resistant multifactor authentication (MFA), modern privileged access, and automated response, CrowdStrike eliminates blind spots and consolidates fragmented controls, advancing identity security beyond legacy identity and access (IAM) and privileged access management (PAM) solutions. “Identity is the front line of modern attacks. In today’s enterprise, access is constantly evolving across identities spanning human users, machines, and AI agents that operate dynamically in hybrid environments,” said Elia Zaitsev, CTO at CrowdStrike. "Traditional IAM and PAM were designed to manage access, not stop adversaries. CrowdStrike closes the gaps adversaries exploit with these fragmented solutions, securing every identity across every stage of the attack and environment. Our latest innovat...

NTT Data is a finalist at the DigiCert Quantum Readiness Awards

NTT DATA, a global digital business and IT services leader, has been recognised as a finalist at the annual DigiCert Quantum Readiness Awards . The awards were presented as part of DigiCert’s World Quantum Readiness Day activities, a date dedicated to raising awareness of the cybersecurity threats quantum computing poses and the steps organisations need to take now to prepare for it. NTT DATA was recognised as a finalist for embedding quantum readiness as an operating discipline across its insurance services platform, including:  Comprehensive cryptographic visibility and risk mapping, using DigiCert Trust Lifecycle Manager to inventory certificates and prioritise long-lived and sensitive data flows at risk of 'harvest-now, decrypt-later' attacks.  Practicing crypto-agility at scale, operationalising 47-day certificate lifecycles to rehearse rapid rotation, automation, and policy enforcement ahead of post-quantum cryptography (PQC) adoption.  Engineering for hybrid cry...

Salesforce AI Research advances enterprise readiness for AI agents

Salesforce AI Research has unveiled an enterprise simulation environment to test agents’ ability to perform in realistic business scenarios. The company notes that in every high-stakes field, skills and consistencies are honed not through live action, but through deliberate preparation in a space where failure is a learning tool, not a costly mistake. This is why pilots train in flight simulators that push them to prepare for the most extreme challenges, surgeons test their skills in high-risk procedures on synthetic models and cadavers before ever operating on a human, and athletes perfect their plays in drills and scrimmages ahead of a big game, Salesforce said. AI agents also benefit from simulation testing and training, preparing them to handle the unpredictability of daily business scenarios before they’re deployed. Building on the original CRMArena , which focused on single-turn B2C service tasks, Salesforce AI Research has launched CRMArena-Pro , which tests agent performan...
