FUJIFILM Business Innovation forges new ties to help Singapore companies transform

FUJIFILM Business Innovation Singapore, which turns 60 this year, has signed memoranda of understanding (MOUs) with three partners that are expected to support transformation efforts across 1,000 companies over the next three years.  

By integrating advanced technologies with deep industry expertise, FUJIFILM Business Innovation Singapore aims to help organisations not only accelerate their digital transformation but also equip them with the tools and expertise needed to thrive in an increasingly AI-driven economy. The MOUs signal a doubling down on its commitment to empower businesses with cutting-edge technologies, particularly AI, process optimisation, and intelligent outsourcing.

A digital data factory 

The partnership with Trusted Hub addresses the need for Singapore companies to keep proper accounting and related records as mandated by Singapore's Companies Act. Trusted Hub's Trusted DataVerse, Singapore’s first legally-compliant large-scale data factory and data warehouse, helps organisations capture, store, and utilise both digitised paper records and born-digital data. 

According to Trusted Hub, some industries still rely on processes that do not meet the strict legal standards for audits or court proceedings. Trusted DataVerse addresses this gap by ensuring every document captured is legally admissible, which helps to strengthen compliance, streamline audit and record keeping, and enhance operational integrity. 

Beyond compliance, the platform lays the groundwork for AI readiness by digitising and structuring paper-based and born-digital data into secure and accessible records. This accelerates data retrieval, improves workflow efficiency, reduces risk exposure, and enriches digital content with detailed classification and labelling for AI training, testing, and large language model (LLM) inferences.

The Bizmann Systems partnership combines Bizmann System's expertise in business process consulting and software development with FUJIFILM Business Innovation Singapore’s strengths in workflow digitisation and managed services. Together, they will offer small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) integrated, cloud-based solutions that digitalise and optimise workflows across e-procurement, supply chain, and finance automation. 

By replacing manual processes and outdated legacy systems, the collaboration enables organisations to achieve real-time inventory tracking, faster approvals, and stronger operational control, which are key factors for agility and quality in these dynamic industries.

AWS: AI adoption grows 20% in Singapore

Amazon Web Services (AWS), an Amazon.com company, has found* that AI adoption continues to accelerate in Singapore. In the past year alone, 27,000 1 Singapore businesses adopted AI for the first time—equivalent to over three new adopters every hour. In sum, nearly 170,000 (48%) of businesses in Singapore have adopted AI 2 , up from approximately 143,000 (40%) a year ago. This represents a 20% year-over-year growth rate, AWS said. AI adoption is the strongest in the financial services industry (71%), followed by the technology sector ( software developers, data analytics firms, cloud service providers, and digital startups) at 70%, and healthcare at 63%. Among Singapore’s businesses that have adopted AI, 82% reported an increase in revenue, at an average increase of 19%, while 90% report significant productivity improvements.
