Antelope document management launches in Singapore via Canon

Antelope Global's Antelope and its AI module, Antelope Genie, are now available in Singapore through a collaboration with Canon. 

Canon has a longstanding partnership with Antelope International in Hong Kong, where the platform has been successfully implemented across various industries. Canon is now riding on this success to bring Antelope Genie to more markets, starting with Singapore.

The Antelope document management system, enhanced with AI, is designed to transform workplace automation and office administration. The platform enables organisations to streamline operations, simplify tasks, reduce costs, and enhance productivity. With Antelope Genie, businesses of all sizes can automate manual office processes. 

In accounts payable, the platform simplifies invoice processing by automating data extraction. Antelope consolidates extracted data into dashboards for better financial oversight. Document and information intensive industries, such as manufacturing, can leverage Antelope Genie to analyse, summarise, compare content, and ask its built-in chatbot for recommendations. Antelope Genie can also compare batch records and generate analysis reports based on documents selected by users.

Antelope Genie's AI-driven features include:

AI Capture: Available on web browsers and mobile devices, AI Capture recognises printed and handwritten text in multiple languages. It also extracts data without preset layouts, handles line items, amendments, and simple calculations. Besides supporting file uploading, AI Capture can extract data from photographs of physical documents. This makes it ideal for businesses that handle large volumes of documents or forms.

Genie Chatbot: With its multilingual and multi-document processing functions, it can handle conversational tasks like analysing content and providing recommendations, email drafting, document comparison or updating of contract terms. 

Document summarisation and comparison: Creates role-specific summaries of lengthy documents, thus reducing the time and effort users spend on reviewing. 

Finding important dates: Identifies and describes dates from documents, with options for email reminders thus making it suitable for contracts and invoices.

AWS: AI adoption grows 20% in Singapore

Amazon Web Services (AWS), an Amazon.com company, has found* that AI adoption continues to accelerate in Singapore. In the past year alone, 27,000 1 Singapore businesses adopted AI for the first time—equivalent to over three new adopters every hour. In sum, nearly 170,000 (48%) of businesses in Singapore have adopted AI 2 , up from approximately 143,000 (40%) a year ago. This represents a 20% year-over-year growth rate, AWS said. AI adoption is the strongest in the financial services industry (71%), followed by the technology sector ( software developers, data analytics firms, cloud service providers, and digital startups) at 70%, and healthcare at 63%. Among Singapore’s businesses that have adopted AI, 82% reported an increase in revenue, at an average increase of 19%, while 90% report significant productivity improvements.
