AVer Information, a provider of edutech and pro audiovisual (AV) solutions, has released two new professional PTZ cameras.

The PTZ211 and PTZ231 feature clear HD 1080p 60 fps imaging, up to 30X* optical zoom, and SmartShoot Human Detection AI for acute camera movement. Users can upgrade these cameras with NDI HX capability from Q224.**

AI-powered camera

AVer’s proprietary SmartShoot technology ensures the speaker and content are always in focus. The PTZ Link feature easily connects the PTZ211 and PTZ231 to selected microphone systems*** to set up voice tracking, which enables the camera to automatically switch between various speakers through preset points.

Setup options

The PTZ211 and PTZ231 connect to your system via standard industry outputs — HDMI, USB, and IP. Users can enable NDIHX2 to implement live feeds from the cameras into an NDI system via a single Ethernet cable.

* The PTZ231 offers a 30X optical zoom while the PTZ211 delivers a 12X optical zoom. ** You can purchase an NDI upgrade in Q224 for each camera directly from the NewTek upgrade page. *** PTZ Link supports microphone systems from Audio-Technica, ClearOne, Sennheiser, Shure, Nureva, and Yamaha.
