Trellix Endpoint Security Suite launched

Trellix, the cybersecurity company delivering the future of extended detection and response (XDR), has introduced Trellix Endpoint Security Suite proactively secures all endpoints, and empowers security operations centre (SOC) analysts with superior visibility and control in a single pane of glass.

“In its approach to unified security, Trellix is aiming to be outcome-focused,” said Michael Suby, Research VP, Security & Trust, IDC.

“From IDC’s perspective, we concur and reinforce that one of the outcomes should be methodically reducing cyber risk.” The Trellix Endpoint Security Suite comprises Trellix Endpoint Security (ENS), Trellix Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and Trellix Endpoint Forensics.

Feature highlights include:

 Endpoint protection optimisation at scale, including proactive attack surface management and a full-featured threat prevention stack

 Effective and efficient alert triage and response, covering alerts and incident triage and remediation, as well as artificial intelligence (AI)-guided investigations for a faster response

 Forensics and root cause analysis, providing a deeper understanding of threats. This tool improves detection and controls in the future

 Solid foundation: an extensible solution with broad and deep coverage for endpoints; natively integrated with the Trellix XDR engine

At the RSA Conference, Trellix previewed a set of features available in Q323:

 Simplified endpoint security management

 Forensics integrated into the management and response consoles

 Support for Apple Silicon, extended support for the MITRE framework, and FedRAMP certification

AWS: AI adoption grows 20% in Singapore

Amazon Web Services (AWS), an Amazon.com company, has found* that AI adoption continues to accelerate in Singapore. In the past year alone, 27,000 1 Singapore businesses adopted AI for the first time—equivalent to over three new adopters every hour. In sum, nearly 170,000 (48%) of businesses in Singapore have adopted AI 2 , up from approximately 143,000 (40%) a year ago. This represents a 20% year-over-year growth rate, AWS said. AI adoption is the strongest in the financial services industry (71%), followed by the technology sector ( software developers, data analytics firms, cloud service providers, and digital startups) at 70%, and healthcare at 63%. Among Singapore’s businesses that have adopted AI, 82% reported an increase in revenue, at an average increase of 19%, while 90% report significant productivity improvements.
