Horangi adds new offers to AWS Marketplace
Horangi, a Singapore-headquartered cybersecurity company which provides solutions optimised for cloud-based organisations across Southeast Asia, will extend cybersecurity services in the region via Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace.
Horangi Network Security Assessment, Horangi Cybersecurity Tabletop Exercise, and Horangi ISO 27001 Certification Readiness Support are now listed in AWS Marketplace.
Horangi is also one of the first Asia-Pacific companies to be awarded the AWS Security Competency. The AWS Competency Program helps customers identify AWS partners with deep industry experience and expertise. This milestone comes as Horangi updates its flagship platform Warden with identity & access management (IAM) capabilities.
“Listing our cybersecurity services on AWS Marketplace enhances our ability to meet customer demand for effective cybersecurity solutions capable of boosting organisational digital risk postures,” said Paul Hadjy, CEO and Co-Founder at Horangi.
“With a proven track record working with some of the region’s fastest growing digital companies, Horangi remains committed to help Southeast Asia’s businesses effectively and securely transition to digital business models. COVID-19 has accelerated the shift to digital, and these milestones reaffirm the trust that Southeast Asia’s leaders have in Horangi to power their cybersecurity.”
Horangi was able to help Singapore-based mobile savings and protection company, Singlife, enhance visibility over its AWS environment as well as enforce compliance with stringent security standards with Warden CSPM, available in the AWS Marketplace. Frank Png, Head of Infrastructure, Singlife, said: “Our team’s productivity has skyrocketed since using Warden. Not only is Warden an intuitive CSPM platform for companies to manage their cloud security, but Warden’s customer service is also impeccable. Horangi is willing to listen to its customers and make the necessary improvements that benefit my whole team.”
CSPM stands for cloud security posture management.
"Horangi is one of our established cybersecurity partners in the region and is already playing a key role in helping both global and regional customers securely adopt the AWS cloud at scale. We are excited about this latest announcement where customers from across the globe can now access Horangi’s deep suite of cybersecurity cloud solutions via the AWS Marketplace," said Conor McNamara, MD, ASEAN at AWS.
Horangi has seen strong business momentum throughout 2020 in Southeast Asia. The company secured 70 additional new projects in Southeast Asia with major Indonesia and Singapore-based banks, insurers, and venture capital funds, growing Horangi’s customer base by almost 50%. These include clients in the financial services sector including several of the largest banks in the region, as well as insurers and venture capital funds such as Direct Asia, NTUC Income and Openspace Ventures. Its other customers include Gojek, Singlife, Shopback, Tiket.com, and PropertyGuru.
Said Raphael Peyret, Director of Product, Horangi: “The success of Horangi in the region speaks to the relevance of our cloud-focused solutions, available to organisations on AWS. These are essential for business continuity especially with remote working models set to continue, allowing organisations to securely distribute workloads across multiple cloud service providers while saving on headcount costs.”
Horangi was founded by ex-Palantir Technologies engineers and is headquartered in Singapore.
