SolarWinds gets thumbs up from TrustRadius users

TrustRadius, a site for B2B software reviews, has named several SolarWinds products as 2020 Top Rated award recipients. In addition, TrustRadius has certified SolarWinds as part of its new TRUE programme, which recognises vendors for the way they source and use customer reviews.

The following SolarWinds solutions were named Top Rated products in each of their respective categories:

· SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor (SAM) won in the Application Performance Management (APM) category: 8.3 out of 10 users are likely to recommend SAM, 8.9 out of 10 likely to renew.

· SolarWinds Service Desk won in two categories, IT Asset Management and IT Service Management (ITSM): 8.1 out of 10 users are likely to recommend Service Desk, 8.2 out of 10 likely to renew.

· SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM) won for Network Performance Monitoring: 8.6 out of 10 users are likely to recommend NPM, 9.1 out of 10 likely to renew.

· SolarWinds Security Events Manager (SEM) won in the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) category: 8.1 out of 10 users are likely to recommend SEM.

· SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer (DPA) won for SQL Server Performance Monitoring: 8.5 out of 10 users are likely to recommend DPA, 9.1 out of 10 likely to renew.

· SolarWinds Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) and SolarWinds SAM both won in System Monitoring: 8.7 out of 10 users are likely to recommend RMM while 8.3 out of 10 users are likely to recommend SAM. Of SAM users, 8.9 out of 10 said they are likely to renew.

AWS: AI adoption grows 20% in Singapore

Amazon Web Services (AWS), an Amazon.com company, has found* that AI adoption continues to accelerate in Singapore. In the past year alone, 27,000 1 Singapore businesses adopted AI for the first time—equivalent to over three new adopters every hour. In sum, nearly 170,000 (48%) of businesses in Singapore have adopted AI 2 , up from approximately 143,000 (40%) a year ago. This represents a 20% year-over-year growth rate, AWS said. AI adoption is the strongest in the financial services industry (71%), followed by the technology sector ( software developers, data analytics firms, cloud service providers, and digital startups) at 70%, and healthcare at 63%. Among Singapore’s businesses that have adopted AI, 82% reported an increase in revenue, at an average increase of 19%, while 90% report significant productivity improvements.
