Fuji Xerox releases A3 colour printer that works well for offices and on-demand printing

Fuji Xerox has released a high-end A3 colour printer, the DocuPrint C5155 d, which is designed to fulfill postcard and office print-on-demand needs.

Producing 50 pages per minute* (ppm) for colour prints and 55 ppm for monochrome jobs, the DocuPrint C5155 d is also about 10% faster for postcard printing compared to its predecessor model, the DocuPrint C5005 d.

The DocuPrint C5155 d supports resolutions of up to 1,200 x 2,400 dpi, and has a first-print output time of 3.5 seconds for monochrome prints. Duplex printing is offered as standard.

In addition to being an ideal shared printer for general documents, the DocuPrint C5155d can produce leaflets and newsletters by adding on finishing options such as stapling, hole-punching and saddle-stitch binding. A wide range of on-demand assets can be created on media such as heavy business card paper of up to 280 gsm** and long paper sizes for banner and poster printing.

The printer can hold up to 5,105 sheets by adding optional trays**.

AWS: AI adoption grows 20% in Singapore

Amazon Web Services (AWS), an Amazon.com company, has found* that AI adoption continues to accelerate in Singapore. In the past year alone, 27,000 1 Singapore businesses adopted AI for the first time—equivalent to over three new adopters every hour. In sum, nearly 170,000 (48%) of businesses in Singapore have adopted AI 2 , up from approximately 143,000 (40%) a year ago. This represents a 20% year-over-year growth rate, AWS said. AI adoption is the strongest in the financial services industry (71%), followed by the technology sector ( software developers, data analytics firms, cloud service providers, and digital startups) at 70%, and healthcare at 63%. Among Singapore’s businesses that have adopted AI, 82% reported an increase in revenue, at an average increase of 19%, while 90% report significant productivity improvements.
