Nxera opens Singapore’s highest power-density and most energy-efficient multi-tenanted data centre

Nxera, Singtel Group’s regional data centre arm, opened DC Tuas, its largest, next-generation, most energy efficient and multi-tenanted data centre. This expands Nxera’s capacity in Singapore to meet accelerating demand for AI, cloud and high-performance computing workloads from enterprises and hyperscalers. With 58 MW of AI-ready capacity, DC Tuas is Singapore’s highest power-density data centre and increases Nxera’s total data centre capacity in the country to 120 MW. More than 90% of its capacity was committed to customers even before the launch. DC Tuas supports the higher rack densities required by next-generation AI workloads. As a carrier-neutral, multi-tenanted data centre, DC Tuas hosts Singapore’s largest direct-to-chip liquid cooling deployment, enabling customers to deploy the new generation of AI infrastructure efficiently and at scale. This advanced cooling capability enhances heat extraction while reducing energy and water consumption compared to conventional cooling ...

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise introduces affordable entry-level Wi-Fi 7 access point

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (ALE), a provider of secure networking and communication solutions, has released the Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess Stellar AP1501, an indoor Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) access point designed to deliver next-generation network performance, reliability, and security for demanding enterprise deployments. According to ALE, organisations are increasingly adopting next-generation wireless technologies to support mobile workforces, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, real-time applications, and growing service density. With the OmniAccess Stellar AP1501, ALE brings the Wi-Fi 7 innovation to mainstream environments — combining high performance, efficiency, and reliability without the complexity or cost traditionally associated with cutting-edge wireless solutions. The OmniAccess Stellar AP1501 supports the IEEE 802.11be Wi-Fi 7 standard, offering enhanced throughput and improved spectral utilisation across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands. The AP1501 is designed for mid-de...

Commotion launches NVIDIA-powered AI operating system for enterprises

Commotion, the AI-native enterprise startup backed by Tata Communications, has introduced a new AI operating system (AI OS) built in collaboration with NVIDIA. Through the initiative, Commotion positions AI not merely as a tool to assist employees, but as a governed, reliable digital workforce that can help enterprises run faster, smarter and more efficiently than ever before. Leveraging NVIDIA Nemotron open models along with the NVIDIA Riva library for advanced speech capabilities, the platform is designed to help enterprises move AI from pilots to production and complete business tasks autonomously, while backed by strong governance and measurable outcomes. Unlike conventional AI tools that generate insights but still depend on manual efforts, Commotion’s AI OS brings enterprise data together, coordinates decisions across systems, and enables AI workers to execute end-to-end tasks such as handling customer service calls, resolving network issues, and improving guest experienc...

Quantum-safe in-factory profile provisioning launched for IoT devices

Acceleronix, a global Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and services provider, and IDEMIA Secure Transactions, a global payment and connectivity solutions specialist, have launched the In-Factory Profile Provisioning (IFPP) Early Access Program at MWC Barcelona .  The programme, which is delivered jointly with Tele2 IoT, provides early access to a quantum-safe IFPP solution for IoT devices. Under the programme, Acceleronix's platform, orchestration capabilities, and factory tools are combined with IDEMIA Secure Transactions' IFPP-ready eSIM IoT and quantum-safe IFPP binding and delivery of MNO profiles. Tele2 IoT contributes its profiles with managed global IoT connectivity. The programme is tuned for any type of device manufacturing operation, from small production runs to large-scale factories. The programme enables OEMs to preload connectivity profiles onto eSIMs during the manufacturing process using one single eSIM part number (one stock-keeping unit or SKU). Devices...

Cohesity teams up with Google Cloud to tackle hidden malware

Cohesity, the AI-powered data security provider, has made significant threat protection enhancements to the Cohesity Data Cloud , redefining cyber resilience by uniting intelligence-driven threat detection, secure analysis, and rapid recovery into a single platform. Frontline Google Cloud security expertise allows organisations to better identify, analyse, and eradicate malware before it can initiate a destructive cyberattack. Unlike traditional backup security approaches that rely on static signatures, external tools, or manual workflows, Cohesity delivers native, intelligence-driven malware analysis directly within the cyber resilience platform, closing one of the industry’s most dangerous blind spots: undetected threats embedded in historical backup data. According to Cohesity, ransomware attacks, supply-chain compromises, and polymorphic malware are growing in scale and sophistication, enabling attackers to increasingly adopt stealthier, long-lived tactics to evade detection...

India’s global systems integrators build next wave of agents with NVIDIA AI

Tapping into NVIDIA AI Enterprise software and NVIDIA Nemotron models, India’s technology leaders are accelerating productivity and efficiency across industries — from call centres to telecommunications and healthcare.  Infosys, Persistent, Tech Mahindra and Wipro are leading the way for business transformation, improving back-office productivity and customer services with integrated agentic AI platforms built with NVIDIA AI Enterprise. - The Wipro WEGA Platform and NVIDIA AI Enterprise are jointly boosting efficiency for call centres, for instance. Wipro’s AI‑agent-assisted solution can handle peak enrollment cycles, when traditional contact centre business models choke, improving customer experience while containing the growing cost of service. Already deployed for a major healthcare insurance provider, the system is already reshaping member experiences by enabling service representatives to handle more complex requests, accelerate resolution times, deliver more personalised supp...

Driving power resilience in Indonesia’s renewable era

By Yana Haikal, Country Manager and President Director of PT Eaton Industries Indonesia Major power failures have struck Indonesia with devastating consequences in the last two years, from Java and Bali’s crippled infrastructure to Sumatra’s two-day blackout that brought business and daily life to a standstill. These incidents have raised concerns about the resilience of energy systems in Indonesia, as it pushes for increased renewable integration into existing power grids, through projects such as the Green Enabling Super Grid and the Indonesia Electricity Network Transformation (I-ENET) programme.  As a key market in the hyperconnected ASEAN region, Indonesia also grapples with the pressure of climate-driven energy transitions. These disruptions underscore the urgent need to strengthen energy resilience — the only way to secure competitive advantage and futureproof our enterprises. Growing risks Indonesia faces a confluence of escalating risks that threaten to unravel busin...
