Citrix Workspace is live on Google Cloud

Citrix Systems has announced general availability of Citrix Workspace for Google Cloud. Using the solution, companies can deliver unified access to G Suite apps. SMEs see productivity jump with UOB Malaysia, The FinLab transformation programme

United Overseas Bank Malaysia and The FinLab have announced that the small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that have completed the Jom Transform Programme 1 are expected to see productivity rise by up to 30% through digitalisation. The Jom Transform Programme is the first business transformation programme in Malaysia to help local businesses digitalise their operations, driving productivity and revenue growth.  During the three-month programme, the 16 participating SMEs gained digital transformation skills and knowhow such as business re-engineering and digital marketing. As part of their skills development, they learnt from experts and were matched with technology partners to pilot relevant solutions and to assess the effectiveness of these solutions. Veritas: enterprise cloud adoption accelerates

Poly communications devices now optimised for Microsoft Teams

Plantronics , the company that was formerly Plantronics and Polycom and now referred to as Poly, has introduced videoconferencing devices with a built-in Microsoft Teams experience. The Poly Studio X Series consists of two new purpose-built, all-in-one video bars for Microsoft teams, and will offer a native Teams meeting and calling experience. The Poly Studio X30 and Poly Studio X50 are designed for small rooms and support 4K Ultra high definition (UHD), and advanced noise suppression. Setup requires a single power-over-Ethernet cable. Users can control the Studio X Series with the new Poly TC8 touch screen. Poly Studio, a plug-and-play USB video bar for small huddle rooms, is now certified for Microsoft Teams.
