Veeam names Beni Sia SEAK VP

Veeam Software, the global player in backup solutions that deliver cloud data management, has announced the appointment of Beni Sia as VP for South East Asia and Korea (SEAK).

Sia’s appointment will enable Veeam to extend its market penetration in SEAK and accelerate its momentum. Veeam is experiencing strong growth and an increasing market share in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), with an annual recurring revenue (ARR) increase of 33% percent year-on-year (YoY) for Q120, indicating strong demand for Veeam solutions in the region.growth.

Sia reports directly to Shaun McLagan, Senior VP of Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). “Despite the challenges faced during the past few months, we have demonstrated strong growth globally and regionally, and I am confident that we will continue to gain market share and strengthen our footprint across APJ,” said McLagan.

According to IDC’s 2019H2 Software Tracker, Veeam in APJ achieved the fastest revenue growth, both sequentially (7.5%) and YoY (32.1% ) in 2H19, among the top five vendors and far ahead of the overall market average, leading the way for Veeam’s growth globally.
