UiPath advances AI-driven enterprise operations, software testing

- UiPath and Databricks connect enterprise data intelligence with agentic automation

Agentic business orchestration provider UiPath is now a Databricks validated technology partner. The partnership introduces tailored integrations designed to bring intelligence, automation, and AI together to power the next generation of intelligent business operations. 

Organisations often struggle to translate data insights into measurable business outcomes due to fragmented systems and disconnected workflows, UiPath explained. By combining trusted data, AI-driven reasoning, and automation, organisations can improve decision-making speed, increase operational efficiency, and scale AI adoption across the enterprise, UiPath said.

The integrations connect the UiPath Platform with the Databricks platform, enabling enterprises to move from data insights to automated action within business processes. Databricks-powered intelligence is embedded directly into automated processes, allowing enterprises to act on real-time data across systems, teams, and functions. 

 Real-time access to trusted enterprise data: UiPath agents and automations can securely access and query unified data from Databricks, including structured and unstructured sources such as databases, documents, and logs. This ensures that automated workflows are grounded in accurate, up-to-date information. 

 Orchestrate Databricks agents with UiPath Maestro: By serving as a unified control plane, UiPath Maestro seamlessly coordinates AI agents, robots, systems, documents, and people across complex, cross-functional workflows. This enables organisations to operationalise AI at scale, transforming fragmented intelligence into autonomous, outcome-driven execution.

 Enterprise-grade governance and transparency: UiPath delivers built-in governance, auditability, and control across automated workflows and into the Databricks platform.

Together, these capabilities enable enterprises to operationalise AI at scale—transforming data- driven insights into consistent, automated execution across business operations.

The integrations between UiPath and Databricks are already available, with additional enhancements to agentic orchestration and AI capabilities planned throughout the year.

UiPath has also expanded a collaboration with Deloitte to help global organisations accelerate software development, testing, and deployment with agentic AI for enhanced resilience and innovation, enabling continuous autonomous quality.

The joint solution combines enterprise-ready agentic testing capabilities on Deloitte Ascend, Deloitte's engineering and service delivery platform, and UiPath Test Cloud to automate manual, repetitive tasks such as test design and reduce maintenance with self-healing execution. 

The solution works with clients’ existing infrastructure, industry-specific data and processes, and Deloitte’s network of alliances – empowering teams to collaborate, build and refine solutions quickly and securely. Powered by agentic AI, the new software testing solution proactively detects changes, generates tests, and executes them autonomously. 

Testers can now harness AI agents to analyse tens of thousands of test results, quickly pinpointing root causes, and uncovering patterns behind failures with precision. By embedding UiPath Autopilot for Testers and Agent Builder into Ascend, Deloitte teams can harness 1,500+ prebuilt testing bots and domain-specific AI agents from day one to achieve up to 20% broader test coverage, 40% faster release cycles and 30% higher automation ROI.

AWS: AI adoption grows 20% in Singapore

Amazon Web Services (AWS), an Amazon.com company, has found* that AI adoption continues to accelerate in Singapore. In the past year alone, 27,000 1 Singapore businesses adopted AI for the first time—equivalent to over three new adopters every hour. In sum, nearly 170,000 (48%) of businesses in Singapore have adopted AI 2 , up from approximately 143,000 (40%) a year ago. This represents a 20% year-over-year growth rate, AWS said. AI adoption is the strongest in the financial services industry (71%), followed by the technology sector ( software developers, data analytics firms, cloud service providers, and digital startups) at 70%, and healthcare at 63%. Among Singapore’s businesses that have adopted AI, 82% reported an increase in revenue, at an average increase of 19%, while 90% report significant productivity improvements.
